Jodhan The term elder abuse is becoming more and more popular these days and sad to say it is a term that has so many negative connotations to it. There was a time not too long ago when the term elder abuse used to be applied to the treatment of the elderly in homes for seniors; but no more. This term has been expanded to include the treatment of the elderly not just in homes for seniors, but also with regard to financial matters. Elder abuse is growing by leaps and bounds and it is something that we as a society need to pay closer attention to if we want to ensure that our parents are going to be well taken of. As a matter of fact, we need to address this growing problem now if we ourselves hope and expect to look forward to golden years of pleasantry and security. Financial protection for seniors should be made a priority and it should be at the top of the priority list for everyone. For make no mistake about it, do nothing and we may as well say goodbye to financial stability.
